DR. RONNY NEVO, PSY.D.
Therapy is a vulnerable and collaborative process, and finding the right therapeutic match is an important and beneficial part of treatment.
I engage in Experiential therapy, primarily focusing on its intersection with fatherhood. Experiential therapy posits that the process of experiencing alters the mind during times of pain or difficulty, as well as during times of healing. Experiential therapies work to unlock and repair neural connections that hold deep emotional beliefs about the self, world, and others that informs relationships, experiences, and general functioning.
Experiential orientations allow opportunities for deeper exploration, which leads to greater and more authentic impact and self-knowledge and sustainable change. As a father, this creates a curious and healing relationship with the self and others, including family members and children.
